They are made without additives in a multi-vat Cylinder Machine and are subsequently calendered to achieve a smooth finish. The manufacturing process results in homogeneous layers with excellent mechanical and electrical strength.
The thermally upgraded paper is also available as diamond-dotted press paper when cured with 'B' stage epoxy resin, which could be dotted on one or both sides for use as inter – layer insulation in Distribution Ttransformers.

Abiding by a strictly quality oriented approach, we manufacture and supply a wide range of Diamond Dotted Paper. Using technologically advanced means, this electrical grade paper is constituted with “B” stage epoxy resin on one side or both. The epoxy resin is applied in a special way to leave ample space between the paper for all kinds of impregnations. The Diamond squares of our paper are of a size 9.5mm X 9.5mm and are spaced 6.5mm apart. The arrangement of these squares is done with their axes along and across the machine direction of the paper, so that the epoxy diamond coating lie along a straight line. Our Diamond Dotted Paper is widely used in the insulation and mechanical binding of winding and insulation layers, laminations, conductors and straps. This Paper is tack free at room temperature and can also be utilized in high stressed areas of transformers after curing. Our Diamond Dotted paper is of high tensile strength and can be used to group together the winding layers so as to yield a single solid block. This paper can be applied on multiple layers between the parts that are to be connected by heating.

This paper is extensively used as a lead or shield in oil cooled and current transformers of CVT, IMB and CT type. Much effective than ordinary kraft paper, these papers are also used to shield copper conductors of various shapes bent at any angle. Our Crepe Paper is highly resistant to any kind of breakage, as it has three times more strength in mechanical and cross mechanical directions. The large surface area of our Crepe Paper retains more oil, which results in lowering the transformers temperature.
